Small Talk at The Funeral

Devising experiment

Devised with an ensemble of actors as part of After-- an immersive theatre production with Barrens Theatre Co. While working on our short play, Passage by Lauren Ramos, we began exploring the inauthentic, monotonous and empty words spoken at funerals by playing combining jagged, careless movement with a table covered in "ash." We hope to dive deeper choreographically and dramaturgically with this idea.
